Electrical Engineer

Element Project Solutions is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with experience in solar farm design and build to join our client’s dynamic and growing team. You will play a key role in the delivery of large-scale solar energy projects, from initial design through to commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to the design of electrical systems for utility-scale solar farms (LV and HV)

• Collaborate with civil and structural teams to ensure electrical design integration

• Prepare and review schematics, single-line diagrams, layout drawings, and cable schedules

• Conduct load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies

• Oversee procurement of electrical equipment and liaise with vendors

• Support on-site construction teams and ensure compliance with electrical standards and project specifications

• Assist in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems

• Ensure HSE standards are upheld across all project stages

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

• Proven experience working on solar farm projects, ideally at utility scale

• Strong knowledge of PV system design, grid connection standards, and electrical codes

• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, ETAP, or similar

• Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and documentation

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
