Element Project Solutions is proud to partner with a leading offshore marine services company in the search for a commercially astute Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Specialising in offshore utility vessels, our client plays a critical role in supporting offshore energy, construction, and subsea operations globally.

As CFO, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping financial strategy, driving operational performance, and supporting sustainable growth in a capital-intensive and highly regulated sector.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the financial direction of a company at the forefront of offshore marine innovation and expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

  • Provide strategic input on commercial decisions, capital allocation, and asset utilisation

  • Oversee financial risk management, funding structures, and compliance with international accounting standards

  • Support project financing and contract negotiations across a global portfolio of offshore utility vessels

  • Lead investor and stakeholder relations, including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies

  • Guide M&A activity, joint ventures, and investment assessments in new and existing markets

  • Manage finance teams across multiple jurisdictions and ensure strong governance

  • Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and legal teams to align financial and commercial objectives

Requirements:

  • Proven CFO or senior financial leadership experience in the marine, offshore, or energy sectors

  • Strong understanding of capital-intensive industries and international operations

  • Demonstrated experience with asset financing, cost optimisation, and contract analysis

  • Relevant qualifications: CA, CPA, ACA, or CIMA preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills

  • Experience working in or alongside marine vessel operations, offshore logistics, or subsea infrastructure is highly advantageous
